Disaster Action is delighted to launch our new website. The leaflets in our When Disaster Strikes and Guidance for Responders series have all been revised and updated. We hope visitors to the site will find it easier to navigate, whether you are looking for information and support after a disaster, an emergency planner or responder seeking guidance, a researcher or a journalist.

Disaster Action
Disaster Action was founded as a charity in 1991 by survivors and bereaved people from UK and overseas disasters. We have collective personal experience of over 30 disasters, including rail, air and maritime as well as natural disasters and terrorist attacks in the UK and overseas. The charity was founded on the principles of accountability, support and prevention.
